We Are
Dawn McArthur, PhD
Research Development Facilitator

Dr. McArthur is a physiologist and zoologist with postdoctoral
research in diabetes and obesity. She has an excellent record
of obtaining research funding and has acted as peer reviewer
for granting agencies and journals. She was Senior University
Grants Facilitator at Simon Fraser University before coming
to CFRI in August 2003.

Mr. Joel Livingston
is a Research Development Facilitator with an emphasis on
assisting the trainees at CFRI and C&W. His background
includes several years in primary research at UBC (plant biology)
and Canadian Blood Services (biochemistry, pathology). Mr.
Livingston has also taught senior undergraduate courses in
cell biology and genetics.
