Clinical Research Coordinators
The Child & Family Research Institute provides professional development and networking opportunities for clinical research coordinators and other staff involved in clinical research at BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital & Health Care Centre.
In fall, the UBC/C&W Research Ethics Board organizes a session on preparing ethics submissions and a session on RiSE, the UBC online research administration tool. Registration for upcoming workshops is available on the event calendar.
CRC Lunch and Learn
CRC Lunch and Learn sessions are held monthly between September and June. The purpose of these sessions is to provide an education forum specific to clinical research. The sessions also provide an opportunity for coordinators to network with others involved in clinical research. Registration for upcoming sessions is available on the event calendar.
Clinical Research Professional Development (CRPD) Program
CRPD is an education initiative led by a group of individuals committed to developing a program that supports the professional development of clinical research coordinators from the Lower Mainland's teaching hospitals' research institutes. The CRPD Resources Document, produced by the CRPD team, provides professional development resources for clinical research coordinators and includes the workshops that will be offered.
CRCNet is a listserv for our clinical research community. Subscribers are able to receive and reply to emails from group members, and send emails to the group. The listserv is intended to share relevant information to the clinical research community. This may include information related to research protocols, processes, regulations, ethics, recruitment, training, education and relevant job postings.
