High School Students

The Child & Family Research Institute is pleased to present the 2012 Celebration of Research Open House. This event takes place on Monday, March 5, 9:00am – 12:30pm at the Child & Family Research Institute.

The CFRI Open House in an interactive event held during UBC’s Celebrate Research Week. This event offers high school student and teachers an opportunity to visit research labs, interact with research trainees and participate in research activities.

The event is free and open to students and teachers, but space is limited. Each school may nominate up to 5 students. We invite science teachers to nominate exceptional students whose enthusiasm and performance in science shows great promise.

Deadline for nomination is Monday, February 20. There are a limited number of seats available for high school students therefore we will accept nominations on a first come, first serve basis.
