If a sexual assault has occurred within the past 7 days, the sexual assault service can be requested at Vancouver General Hospital Emergency Department on 920 West 10th Avenue. Female patients can arrange for a Women Against Violence Against Women (WAVAW) rape crisis counselor to meet them at the hospital.
